Don’t be fooled by their good day against Atlanta. The Pittsburgh defense is still deeply flawed in several areas. Inside linebacker remains a big one as they continue to suffer without the presence of Ryan Shazier. They badly need somebody with range who won’t be constantly picked on in coverage. Anfernee Jennings is that type of player at Alabama in addition to being a strong presence against the run. This shouldn’t be a surprise. That school is known for producing an assembly line of good linebackers. He’s merely the latest.
