I really like Kevin Whites blocking and as Nagy said it could be a different guy every week due to matchups. What game do you see White and Howard featured in?

If White didn’t see considerable action in the passing game against Tampa Bay with several rookies starting, I struggle to see him doing so the rest of the year. His blocking has value and should be used extensively moving forward, but I think it’s time to throttle back on the hopes that he’ll be anything like a true receiving weapon. As for Howard, he should see more action in future games. There are a number of weak run defenses the Bears will play in the upcoming schedule including the Lions, Giants, Patriots, and Dolphins.

Do you view the bye week as a good break both mentally and physically for the team or a potential for lost momentum?

This is one of the things that’s subjective. Both sides of the argument have merit. Some people like the early break because it gives the team a chance to make adjustments earlier. Others fear the quick stoppage can mess with a team that is just starting to get hot. My take? If a bye week is what ends up ruining your season, then you probably weren’t that good of a football team to begin with. If the Bears are as good as they look, they should handle this early break with relative ease and come out ready to play against Miami.
