LSU Defense

CB Andraez “Greedy” Williams

Junior cornerback Andraez “Greedy” Williams is another potential first round pick, as he could declare for the 2019 NFL Draft as the top cornerback. The redshirt sophomore was listed as questionable with an undisclosed injury but if he plays, he can shut down Florida’s top wide receiver and is tied in leading the team in interceptions with two. Last year, he had six picks and 10 pass deflections in his first official start for the Tigers in 2017. Williams could follow tradition with talented LSU defensive backs and head to this year’s draft as LSU is college footballs “DBU”.

LB Devin White

The junior linebacker is making waves in the early stages of the 2019 NFL Draft process as he is just as athletic or even more talented than some of NFL’s fastest and coverage based linebackers in the NFL, like former LSU linebacker Deion Jones. He is a potential first-round pick if he declares and is leading the team in total tackles (44) and five tackles for loss this season. White was the starter last year and had 133 total tackles with13.5 tackles for loss as the captain of the LSU defense. He will make a big impact in stopping Florida’s run game and coverage against pass catchers in the middle.
