Indianapolis simply needs to take the best player available and continue to build up the middle. They already did so with Quenton Nelson, Braden Smith, and Darius Leonard in the 2018 draft.

While LSU cornerback Greedy Williams was an enticing option, the Colts must stick to their guns and go with the dominant Alabama defensive tackle, Raekwon Davis.

Indianapolis has gotten a ton of production from Margus Hunt, who has already set a career high in sacks with four through as many games. Both Hunt and his interior counterpart Al Woods are both free agents at seasons end and are both in their 30s. Even if they retain one of those two they need youth on their defensive line.

Davis is a monster playing inside at 6’7 and coming off an 8.5 sack season with the Crimson Tide. His sack and tackle for loss production haven’t matched last years thus far with only 1.5 tackles for loss and no sacks in 2018. He’s likely best suited as a run defender, which comes in handy when facing Leonard Fournette, Derrick Henry, and Lamar Miller twice a year each.
