There aren’t too many holes to fill on the undefeated Rams, something few would say in the days of Jeff Fisher. Jared Goff has blossomed under Sean McVay and he has a pretty decent set of playmakers around him with Todd Gurley, Brandin Cooks, Robert Woods, and Cooper Kupp.

Defensively the Rams have just as much firepower with Aaron Donald, Ndamukong Suh, Marcus Peters, Lamarcus Joyner, and Mark Barron.

Like I said, there really aren’t many holes or needs for the Rams going forward.

Looking at their 2019 free agents there are a couple of names that might need to be replaced. Suh is a big one in the middle of the defensive line, and the second is Joyner, who signed an $11.287 million franchise tag. There are several other depth pieces the Rams will need to re-sign or replace, meaning they’ll likely lose either Suh or Joyner.

If the Rams lose Joyner they’ll need a safety to step in and start right away. That’s what Jaquan Johnson can do coming out of Miami. He’s a downhill thumper who can disrupt the run and breakup passes in front of him. Last year Johnson earned seven turns at wearing the “turnover chain” with four picks and three forced fumbles.
