44. . DT. Mississippi State. Jeffery Simmons. 11. player

Atlanta is not a team many saw starting the year 1-3, but most of that is thanks to injuries. Losing Keanu Neal, Ricardo Allen, Deion Jones, and Andy Levitre is devastating for the Falcons, and their losses could be too much for the Falcons to overcome.

This is a tremendous opportunity for the Falcons to inject another young star to their defense. They already have a ton of talent, but there’s a potential steal here to round out the top-10.

Jeffery Simmons is the perfect fit for the interior of the Falcons defensive line coming out of Mississippi State. He’s constantly near the football and like his teammate Montez Sweat, he’s got a very high motor.

Having Simmons paired with Vic Beasley, Takk McKinley, Grady Jarrett, and Deadrin Senat going forward would be a dream for the Falcons going forward. An already impressive defense continues to get better, and barring injuries, this team should be back on their feet soon.
