Dak Prescott (Dallas Cowboys):  C-

Cowboys fans may try to defend how “efficient” Dak Prescott has been through the first four weeks. So we’ll be nice and say this is true. For the most part, he’s protected the ball well. That said, we’re also going to say something they’re secretly thinking but will never (ever) admit. They miss Tony Romo. There’s no telling how good this team would’ve been with him under center.

That aside, the fact is Prescott is a hand-holder. He makes a couple nice throws each game and lets Ezekiel Elliott do his thing. That man is the true superstar of the Cowboys offense. Prescott is his right-hand man. The quarterback is a good leader but he also has topped 200 yards passing just twice since December 17th of last year.

Teams know at this point that if they can somehow stop Elliott, their chances of winning the game spike significantly because Prescott hasn’t been able to show that he can carry his team to victory through the air. Until that changes his grade will likely hover around where it is. Dallas no doubt hopes that won’t be the case, or that their team is good enough to where it won’t matter.
