Marcus Mariota (Tennessee Titans): C+

Things looked like they were headed to a devastating route for the Tennessee Titans to start the season. Mariota got knocked around and eventually out with an elbow injury and the Titans looked like they were in for a long season. Fast-forward to now and the team is 3-1 coming off an overtime win versus the Super Bowl champs. While the Titans and Mariota might not be ready to take the next step with their offense barely able to score 20 points a game, their certainly headed in the right direction.

I think many still wonder whether Mariota can be a franchise quarterback, at least in Tennessee. His numbers over his first four years aren’t staggering and the team hasn’t won more than nine games under his watch.

Through this season Mariota is 30th in both passing yards and passing touchdowns, of which he has just two. To be fair, he’s missed time with the elbow injury. He does, however, lead the league with two game-winning drives coming off a season when he had a league-high four. If anything, Mariota is consistent.
