Kirk Cousins (Minnesota Vikings): B

Statistically speaking, Cousins has been great through his first four games with the Vikings. He’s putting his team in positions to win games, but the Vikings aren’t closing.

After winning their first game of the season against the 49ers, the Vikings have failed to win in their next three.

Cousins isn’t the leading reason why, by any means, as he’s completing 69.3 percent of his passes and doing a great job of spreading the ball around to the elite level receivers Minnesota has at his disposal.

With 10 touchdowns compared to just two interceptions and a high completion rate, Cousins and the Vikings should start winning more games soon, but what in the world happened against the Buffalo Bills at home?

That was an inexcusable loss and the Vikings’ offense should have been able to put up points against one of the worst teams in the NFL. A loss to the Los Angeles Rams in prime time on Thursday Night Football was not completely unexpected, but Cousins and the Vikings looked a lot more competitive in that one than they did against Buffalo, which is a good sign.
