Aaron Rodgers (Green Bay Packers):  A-

One must be careful not to get too caught up in expectations when offering a grade. Aaron Rodgers hasn’t played at the same level he has in previous years. However, given the fact he’s done what he has thus far with an injured left knee makes this season an impressive one. He’s thrown seven touchdowns to just one interception and engineered an epic 4th quarter comeback.

There’s not too much you can say. Rodgers continues to be the primary reason the Packers win games. Their defense remains average per usual while the running game is an extension of him. Even so, things haven’t quite clicked this year. The Packers have looked inconsistent at times on offense, and Rodgers himself admitted as much.

As his leg gets healthier, it stands to reason that Rodgers will return to his customary level of excellence. So those disatisfied with a minor knock on the A- can rest assured the grade is almost certain to improve barring another injury of some sort. Nothing has really changed from the notion that he remains the best quarterback in professional football.
