Case Keenum (Denver Broncos):  F

John Elway really sold his fans a bill of goods on this one. Truth be told, the Denver Broncos GM continues to show his utter lack of scouting prowess when it comes to the quarterback position. He’s whiffed on every draft picks he’s made to this point and now his big free agent signing Case Keenum, the man he felt was a far better option than any 1st round QB or a Teddy Bridgewater, is blowing up his face.

Keenum had a nice run in Minnesota. There’s no denying that. However, that was in Minnesota and it was also an aberration from the rest of his career where he’s been average at best. The Broncos made it seem like they were getting an absolute steal. Now he’s four games into the season with three touchdown passes and six interceptions.

Nothing sums up his time there more than his catastrophic miss of a wide open Demaryius Thomas at the end of the Kansas City game. A pass that would’ve been a walk-in touchdown to win the game. Keenum has always been that guy who just can’t seem to capitalize on his opportunities. Denver is proving that yet again.
