Washington Redskins 2019 NFL Mock Draft: Gruden’s last stand?
By Craig Stofko
The Redskins have to address the fiasco at left guard. Ideally, as Chase Roullier can play both guard and center the Skins could pick another player that could do the same.
The first ten picks in the 2019 draft could very well be defensive players. While Washington will certainly be tempted to snare one of the defensive stars left on the board, they will have to consider themselves fortunate when the best guard in the draft falls into their laps.
Benzschawel is an NFL starter on day one and fits the Skins prototype for the position. At 6’5 320 he is a mauler with exactly the same measureables as his counterpart on the right side of the line, Brandon Scherff.
Beau would serve as the elusive missing piece to an offensive line that would be flat out scary. That’s exactly what the Redskins need and it’s exactly what they’ll do.
