With week five of the college football season in the books, let’s pinpoint some key takeaways from this week’s college football action.

A week without a number of high-profile matchups produced a number of games that ended in nail-biting fashion. One of those games was not in Tuscaloosa, Alabama as the #1 team in all of college football handled business with ease as Alabama torched Louisiana-Lafayette 56-14.

Heisman hopeful Kyler Murray did not start as a result of a punishment for being late to practice Friday but that did not stop him and his #7 Oklahoma teammates as they cruised to a 66-33 win over Baylor.

Swing back around the SEC, and you will see another dominant performance by #2 Georgia as they walloped Tennessee 38-12. Let’s take a dive into the key takeaways from this past week in college football.
