#2:  Bryce Callahan

One man who looks motivated this year is cornerback Bryce Callahan. There’s good reason for it. He’s in the last year of his contract after signing a restricted tender for one more season in Chicago. He’ll be a free agent in 2019. If he wants to get a bigger deal, he needs to play well. So far this year he’s been doing the job well, showcasing his versatility.

Quarterbacks have thrown at him nine times this season for a 50.2 passer rating. Though they’ve completed seven of those passes, he hasn’t given up a touchdown while picking one off and deflecting another. He also has nine tackles including three for a loss, showcasing his unique ability to sniff out and blow up screen plays. He’s such a well-rounded player.
