Who comes out on top between powerhouses Stanford and Notre Dame

Four games into the season we are getting a pretty good feel for what a team can bring it to the field. Both Notre Dame and Stanford head into their late September matchup undefeated and ranked in the top-10.

Stanford started the year ranked 13th and have climbed each week. They have seemed to control each game with a stingy defense. Last week they faced their toughest test in conference rival Oregon whom they were down to at halftime 24-7.

The Cardinal would come back in the game to force overtime where they ultimately walked away as the victors after a 38-31 final.

Notre Dame started their season off with a big win against Michigan but haven’t done too much to build on that early year momentum.

In week two they had a real scare against Ball State but would win 24-16. They followed that up with a grind-it-out type of victory against Vanderbilt. Last week was their largest margin of victory so far in 2018, blowing out Wake Forest 56-27.

Both teams enter 4-0 while the Cardinal is coming down off a highly emotional win against the Ducks and the Irish fresh off their biggest offensive outing of 2018.
