9. Indianapolis Colts

player. 46. . DT. Michigan. Rashan Gary . 9

Chris Ballard has done a good job of starting to rebuild that Indianapolis Colts defense. Darius Leonard and Malik Hooker are already standouts. However, the 4-3 defense is always predicated on its defensive line. If the front four can’t get home consistently, then the rest of the unit will struggle to compensate. That’s why they take Rashan Gary. The big Michigan defensive tackle eats blockers. He is hard to move in the run game and his mix of power and length allow him to get push up the middle as an interior pass rusher. Building around someone like that is easy.
