Some continue to insist that Brian Burns should stay in college to improve his strength, but the fact is he’s making plays right now for Florida State. If that continues, the odds favor him going pro. The fact that he’s doing this and is clearly not a finished product speaks to his overall talent. He’s got that coveted mix of size and athleticism good pass rushers need. Put him in the hands of Wade Phillips, one of the best edge rusher developers in the business and it’s a recipe for devastation. Once Burns adds that power element to his game, there won’t be much stopping him.
