31. Kansas City Chiefs

31. player. 124. . EDGE. Oregon. Jalen Jelks

In what has already been tagged as a loaded edge rusher class, yet another name has begun to emerge in Jalen Jelks. He checks the necessary boxes from length to explosiveness and ability to best the corner to reach the quarterback. His presence on the Oregon defense has been a huge help their improvement this season. The Kansas City Chiefs are in a bit of a bind defensively. Their pass rush is top heavy with Justin Houston. Nobody else has been able to step up and be that #2 guy, that Tamba Hali to ease the pressure on him. Dee Ford simply hasn’t gotten it done. Jelks would be another attempt at this.
