28. Green Bay Packers (via NO)

Derrick Brown . 28. player. 49. . DT. Auburn

The ankle injury to Muhammad Wilkerson was a tough blow for the Green Bay Packers defense. Throw in the fact he’s also on a one-year deal and the odds are they may have to address this position next year sooner than they would’ve liked. Luckily the draft class is stacked with talent and Derrick Brown should be able to fill that void Wilkerson leaves behind with ease. He’s a big, stout lineman who can handle his business against the run but is at his best when allowed to move forward, using his length and power to generate pressure on the pocket. With further development, he can be a quality piece for that rebuilding Packers defense.
