Ryan Kalil continues to do his job at center for the Carolina Panthers. However, they know his time is approaching. He plans to call it a career when 2018 comes to an end. Smart money says they’ll want to react quickly to fill that void in order to keey Cam Newton healthy and ensure their running game is still effective. Elgton Jenkins can help accomplish both tasks. He’s got the feet and quickness to handle interior pass rushers well along with the desired size to generate push on the ground. He’s also experienced against SEC competition, so he’ll be battle-tested.
