#17 Kentucky takes out #23 Mississippi State

Don’t look now but the Kentucky Wildcats are undefeated at 4-0, ranked, and sports a defense that is 11th overall in the country and an offense that averages 34.5 points per game. On Saturday night, the Wildcats are their most impressive win of the season thus far, a 28-7 thumping of Mississippi State.

One of the most underrated running backs in FBS is Benny Snell Jr., who rushed for 165 yards and four touchdowns. It is Snell’s third 100-yard rushing game as he averages 6.2 yards per carry with seven touchdowns.

However, the story of the night belonged to the defense. A unit that held the Bulldogs to 201 total yards and only two yards per carry. Many questions still remain when it comes to the Wildcats and while they are emerging, challenging the Georgia Bulldogs for the SEC East title is a mountain of a task.

Despite that, these Wildcats are improving and have put the SEC on notice.
