Khalil Mack has better stats by himself than the entire Raiders defense

Jon Gruden thought he was taking the pragmatic approach when he accepted a large cache of draft picks from the Chicago Bears for star edge rusher Khalil Mack. He no doubt thought his defense could get by just fine without one man. So far his assumptions should be questioned. His 0-3 Oakland Raiders have three sacks, one forced fumble, and one interception.

Mack must be laughing at those numbers. During his first three starts for Chicago, he has four sacks, three forced fumbles and an interception returned for a touchdown. It’s hard to understand Gruden’s thinking. After all, it was a talent-laden defense enriched with superstars like Warren Sapp, Simeon Rice, Derrick Brooks and John Lynch that carried him to a Super Bowl title.

Amazing that he might’ve taken something like that for granted.
