Offense:

WR J.J. Arcega-Whiteside

K.J. Costello has a plethora of weapons on offense from Bryce Love at running back, to Kaden Smith Jr. at tight end, and wide receivers J.J. Arcega Whiteside. He also has receivers Trenton Irwin and Osiris St. Brown at wide receiver, but one receiver that has emerged as a top target for Costello is Arcega-Whiteside.

The senior is tied in most catches and is leading in receiving yards with 13 catches for 324 yards and five touchdowns for Stanford. Arcega-Whiteside has been a reliable target in the red zone and can make moves in space for his size, averaging 24.9 yards per catch. He should have some opportunities to make plays against Oregon’s defensive backs. The receiver is the spark for Stanford’s passing attack and is a key cog in their potent offense.

RB Bryce Love

Even though he did not play in week three and did not have a good week one performance, Bryce Love balled out against USC and had 22 carries for 136 yards and a rushing touchdown on that night in primetime. The Heisman candidate last year showed why he has to be the focus for Stanford’s offense and when he is covered in the box, their passing game shows out as Stanford’s offense is balanced enough to beat any defense either way.

The senior running back should have a big game against Oregon as he had a big showing the last time they faced.
