NFL Free Agency: Why Dez Bryant is available and who can sign him
Buffalo Bills
If Bryant moved to Buffalo, he’d have to be willing to accept losing for a brief moment. Buffalo has rabid, die hard fans, and the two appear to go hand in hand.
Bryant would be an excellent compliment to Bills wideout Zay Jones, who has had his own fair share of controversial moments. The combo of Jones and Bryant, not to mention Kelvin Benjamin, could work out to rookie quarterback Josh Allen’s advantage, quite nicely.
Remember, Bryant wouldn’t be the first former Cowboy receiver, to head for Orchard park. Well, let’s scratch that. TO in Buffalo didn’t go as planned.
Cleveland Browns
Bryant has met the staff in Cleveland, he knows the players, he’s made not one, but two visits to the team headquarters. Cleveland may not offer him the money Bryant is looking for, but Cleveland may be the smartest choice on this list.
Cleveland could have a nasty group on its own, adding Dez would only help Baker Mayfield for now and in the long run. However, if Cleveland begins to come together as I believe they will, Bryant’s window may start closing fast.
