Dez Bryant was released by the Dallas Cowboys back in April, and the all-pro has still yet to be signed by an NFL team.

Why has Dez Bryant not been signed in NFL free agency, is the bigger question here. It was reported Bryant turned down an offer out of Baltimore, for somewhere around the neighborhood of three years, $21 million.

It’s a well-known fact that Bryant came into Berea, OH for a meeting with the Browns several weeks ago. However, that visit did not conclude with the signing of a contract.

It has also been noted, Bryant has a strong desire to play for an NFC East rival of his former team in Dallas. We’re gonna take a guess and say at this point Dez is becoming a tad picky with whom he signs, for how long, and how much money that franchise will owe him.

At this point in Bryant’s career, the desire to be picky is not a smart move. Dez will turn 30 in November, an age that most teams tend to stay away from when it comes to receivers.

Age would not so much be a factor had Bryant not been released by Dallas, a team he had spent his entire NFL career playing for. It’s a known fact Dallas was looking for a bit of a culture change in their locker room, and Bryant’s exit seemed to be a way to get there.

One of the major concern teams have of Bryant, is his motormouth mentality. Bryant is a fierce competitor, who unfortunately sometimes does not leave it all out on the field.
