Collin Johnson (WR, Texas)

Big wide receivers always tend to divide people anyway. Some love them for the matchup advantages they provide, especially in the red zone. Others are wary because they tend to be one-trick ponies who are too stiff to run a proper full route tree in the NFL. No doubt many will wonder if the same fate awaits 6’6 Collin Johnson from Texas.

There’s no doubt he has the physicality and 50/50 capability expected of a big receiver. He’s also got some decent speed, able to go down the field for big plays as well. Thus far he hasn’t been asked to run complex routes, so the big mystery remains. Some people are going to fall in love with his sheer physical talent, but certain coaches will be wary.
