TCU Keys To Victory

Playmakers in space: The Horned Frogs have exceptional playmakers on offense. From the quarterback in Shawn Robinson (755 total yards of offense, eight touchdowns) to running back Darius Anderson (team-leading 259 yards, 8.9 yards per carry) and wide receivers Jalen Raegor and KaVontae Turpin (first and second on the team in catches respectively).

The trio of Anderson, Raegor, and Turpin are dangerous with the ball in their hands so look for TCU to get them a healthy dose of touches on offense.

Mental state: Last week, TCU went toe-to-toe with one of the best teams in all of college football in Ohio State in a game that saw the Buckeyes pull away late after what was just a five-point game after three quarters.

Now the Horned Frogs have to turn around and find themselves on road in what will likely be a rowdy stadium in Austin against a Longhorns team with growing confidence. The Horned Frogs will not win this game on sheer talent alone. Their mental ability has to be here for all four quarters also. It is easy to see a talented but young team have a mental letdown on the road after coming up short against a national title contender like the Buckeyes.
