The Texas Longhorns host in-state rival TCU in an important conference opener for both teams.

Not since 2009 have the Texas Longhorns were legitimately on the National Championship radar. Since then, they have closed the door on one long-term regime, opened a new one, and after three seasons of that, decided that enough was enough. Now in place, second-year head coach Tom Herman has plenty of expectations to uphold, from boosters to a fan base that is incredibly antsy to get back to the upper-echelon of programs.

During that same time period, TCU has been steadily climbing the ladder and is now viewed as a contender in the Big 12 every season. This particular campaign is no different with plenty of speed on both sides of the ball and a head coach with one of the best strategic minds in all of college football.

The Horned Frogs travel to Austin to lock horns with well, the Longhorns, in a Big 12 battle that could possibly have conference title implications.

Let’s take a look at the keyes, prediction, and how to watch this game on Saturday.
