Pittsburgh Steelers
Cornerback . 27. player. 55. . CB. Pittsburgh
Everybody saw what happened. The Pittsburgh Steelers had no answer for Patrick Mahomes and that Kansas City Chiefs passing attack, allowing six touchdown passes. Since pass rush obviously isn’t the problem with this team, there’s no doubt it continues to be their secondary. The coverage just hasn’t been good enough and it’s the primary reason this team continues to come up short in the playoffs against top quarterbacks like Tom Brady and now (apparently) Blake Bortles. The window is closing for this team as their stars all enter their 30s or prepare to leave. They may need to consider a bold move to finally solve this lingering problem.
