Oakland Raiders

Oakland. Derek Carr . 25. player. 28. . QB

People are going to laugh at this, but should they? Not a soul on the planet thought Jon Gruden would trade Khalil Mack when he arrived. Then he did. Is it really that crazy to think he might do the same with Derek Carr? Imagine what he’d get in a deal for the former Pro Bowler. Something equivalent or even superior to what the Raiders received for Mack.

That would give the team a plethora of 1st round picks over the next two years to completely rebuild the roster in Gruden’s vision. One mustn’t forget his notorious streak with young quarterbacks. He’s never liked them. He always prefers older veterans who are already polished in their knowledge and mechanics. Gruden knows he isn’t going anywhere.
