2018 NFL Trade Deadline: One deal each team could make

The Patriots already made their big deal for Josh Gordon from Cleveland, so they could technically be exempt from this list. However, they still have a lot of picks in 2019 so it’s possible they may aim for another bold move if the right situation develops. One issue they still haven’t solved is the Tom Brady successor at quarterback.

Right now it’s just Brady and Brian Hoyer on the roster. They could look to find a young player who might suddenly become available that they few with the potential to develop into something. For example, the Broncos have Chad Kelly who looks like he could be a starter with a little more work. Something to consider.
