Detroit Lions

50. . CB/S. Detroit. Secondary . 11. player

Whatever magic the Detroit Lions secondary had last year is gone now. It’s apparent the arrival of a new coaching staff has thrown the formula out of whack. Players are getting beat a lot in coverage and guys are getting hurt. It’s clear that Matt Patricia doesn’t have the same feel for them as Teryl Austin did. He may did to find somebody more his speed. Maybe not a blockbuster deal but a veteran who might have some prior history with him that can help others understand exactly what is expected from this new defensive scheme. Naturally teams like New England and other Patriot-rich locations would be ones to watch.
