Denver Broncos

Bradley Chubb (1st round)

Through the first two games of the season, top five draft pick Bradley Chubb leads all NFL rookies with eight pressures on the opposing quarterback. He got his first NFL sack on the Broncos’ first defensive play of the season, and has looked really good against the run.

Chubb is the total package and the Broncos are expecting big things from him. Despite seven of his eight pressures coming in week one, the team has high hopes for him to be a terror opposite Von Miller all year long.

Right now, he looks really good.

Courtland Sutton (2nd round)

The Broncos took Courtland Sutton in the second round, and he has played like a starter in their offense, racking up two plays of 20-plus yards in the team’s week one win over Seattle. He had another couple of big plays reversed by replay against the Oakland Raiders, including his first potential NFL touchdown, which would have been an incredible catch.

Sutton’s production will likely increase as the season wears along, but he’s showing early that he is capable of making big plays.

Phillip Lindsay (Undrafted)

Phillip Lindsay was not invited to the Scouting Combine, he wasn’t drafted, and he was an afterthought after the NFL Draft.

Despite being one of the best offensive weapons in Colorado football history, Lindsay’s small size got him overlooked and underappreciated in the draft process. He’s proving people wrong one game at a time.

Not only is Lindsay the number one rusher through two weeks of the NFL season among rookies, but he’s also the first undrafted rookie in NFL history to rack up over 100 total yards in his first two NFL games.

Lindsay’s productivity and usage in Denver’s offense have many thinking he might be another Darren Sproles type of player.
