Kansas City Chiefs

Armani Watts (4th round)

One of the players I thought the Chiefs absolutely stole in the 2018 NFL Draft was safety Armani Watts.

Through the team’s first two games, he’s played a very minute role on the defense but has been one of the team’s leading playmakers on special teams.

As the Chiefs have given up 65 points through their first two games, it wouldn’t surprise me to see Watts take on a bigger role defensively at some point this season.

Breeland Speeks (2nd round) & Derrick Nnadi (3rd round)

The Chiefs’ top two draft picks in 2018 have played a combined 75 snaps defensively through the first couple of games, and neither has made a notable impact.

They have combined for three total pressures in two games, with no hits and no sacks. The Chiefs are giving them opportunities, albeit limited, and they look like they have a chance to contribute more as the season progresses.
