Coach of the Year

  1. Dirk Koetter (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)
  2. Doug Marrone (Jacksonville Jaguars)
  3. Sean McVay (Los Angeles Rams)

People need to understand the context here with Dirk Koetter. Everybody thought the man was on the cusp of getting fired going into this season. Then his starting quarterback gets suspended for the first three weeks and the teams’ 1st round pick also goes down with an injury. Did that stop him? Nope. Koetter just engineered huge wins over New Orleans and Philadelphia, two playoff teams from a year ago. That’s pretty impressive.

Marrone arguably has the best roster in the entire AFC and he proved it by downing the Patriots in week two. The Jaguars are playing hard, loose and confident. Light years from where they were a couple years ago. McVay has already engineered two-straight blowouts to start the season. His Rams team is showcasing their massive influx of talent thus far and it looks like they might be the team to beat in the NFC.
