Seattle Seahawks at Chicago Bears: Week 2 game preview
By Erik Lambert
X-factors:
Will Dissly – The rookie 4th round pick was a revelation for the Seahawks in the opener with 105 yards and a touchdown on three catches. With Doug Baldwin likely out with a knee injury, they absolutely need him to deliver an encore. The Bears inside linebackers, particularly Nick Kwiatkoski have proven vulnerable in coverage. This is a matchup Seattle must exploit if they want any hope of moving the ball consistently against that tough Chicago defense.
Jordan Howard – The star Bears running back was excellent in Green Bay, rushing for 82 yards and also catching five passes for 25 more. He looked like what he is, still the focal point of that offense. Not good news for a Seahawks defense that allowed 146 rushing yards in Denver and may be without their two best linebackers, Bobby Wagner (groin) and K.J. Wright (knee) for the game. For what it’s worth, the Bears are 4-2 in games where Howard cracks 100 yards at home.
