Ole Miss Players To Watch

Jordan Ta’amu, QB: A lot of the talk when discussing the offense is mainly centered around the loaded wide receiver corps but Ta’amu has been as solid as they come this season with 784 yards and seven touchdowns so far this season. Ta’amu came on late last year and looked really good in seven games of action by completing 66.5% of his passes for 11 touchdowns and just four interceptions. Ta’amu won’t make many headlines given the amount of talent around him but he continues to impress even with just a handful of starts.

A.J. Brown, WR: Some say Brown is the best receiver in the country and that statement has its fair share of merit. Brown leads the Rebels in catches, yards, and touchdowns and the 225-lb receiver is a physical freak that may very well be a top-10 selection in the upcoming NFL Draft. Brown is coming off a 158-yard, two touchdown performance against Southern Illinois last week.

Greg Little, LT: The junior offensive lineman is next in line from the Ole Miss program as a next level protector at left tackle. He will be seeing plenty of Alabama’s Raekwon Davis, Isaiah Buggs, and Anfernee Jennings in this matchup and his protection will be vital against an active and physical front seven for the Crimson Tide.
