Alabama Players To Watch

Tua Tagovailoa, QB: The sophomore quarterback entered the season with numerous questions despite his heroics in the National Championship game this past season. So far, he has answered those questions by completing 71.4% of his passes for six touchdowns and zero interceptions. He played and excelled in the title game under the big lights but now the test is how he performs as a starter the road in prime SEC territory.

Najee Harris, RB: It seems that every year, Alabama has an intimidating presence in the backfield at running back and Harris is tailor-made for that role this season. At this point of the season, Harris is leading rusher on the team after averaging 7.9 yards per carry so far this season. Harris only carried the rock 61 times last season as a freshman, but the 227-lb Harris has the skill to be Alabama’s top running back this season.

Dylan Moses, LB: Moses was the 13th overall player and the second-ranked linebacker in the 2017 recruiting class and is oozing with tremendous potential. After two games, Moses is tied for the team lead in sacks and is tied for second on the team in tackles for loss. Moses is an athletic freak and is able to do just about anything he wants on the football field.

Raekwon Davis, DL: Big, physical, and mean. Davis is the best defensive lineman on the Alabama defense and how he performed last season prompted many to view Davis as a critical focal point on the attacking Alabama unit. With his height and notably long arms, Davis is capable of causing havoc in opposing backfields while also being able to line up at any line position.
