@MrITC3

What’s the deal with Aaron Lynch. Are we being sold a bill of goods about him?

Aaron Lynch is right where he should be now, which is as a primary backup. He was never meant to be a starter. So to answer that specific part of your question, yes we were being sold a bill of good. That said, Lynch should still have value as a rotational pass rusher. He’s not in shape right now. He missed most of training camp and all of the preseason. So he is trying to catch up. Odds are he should be up to speed by no later than the bye week. Presuming he doesn’t get hurt again.

Why am I not panicking about this team? Second half was rough but the first half is really sticking with me #Bears

Because you saw exactly what everyone else did. In years past the Bears were crushed at Lambeau by Green Bay because not only did they have the superior quarterback but also a better roster. That is no longer the case. The Packers still have the better quarterback with Rodgers, but the Bears proved that their roster as a whole may have finally closed the gap with their bitter rival. It’s just a matter of teaching this young group how to close out games and finish.
