Don’t expect Dave Gettleman to cave to the pressure of drafting a quarterback high. He seems dead set on squeezing every last drop possible out of Eli Manning while he frantically rebuilds the roster. Most of the focus must shift to the defense which lacks true playmakers in their new 3-4. Adding a bonafide inside linebacker who can run the show from the middle would be ideal. Devin White has the tools from the range to the elite instinct, toughness and tackling prowess. Some see him as another Ray Lewis. Even if exaggerated, it reinforced how much he could help Big Blue return to defensive excellence.
