Mississippi State. Montez Sweat . 7. player. 30. . EDGE

The Jets defense did a magnificent job telegraphing what Matthew Stafford was going to do all game long in Detroit. That said, they still have a lingering concern with their pass rush, particularly on the edge. That may have been avoided for one game, but rest assured teams like New England and others will find a way to exploit it. That’s why a guy like Montez Sweat will become a prime target for them. The Mississippi State defensive end had 10.5 sacks last season and is already off to a hot start in 2018. He’s got great size, length, explosion and violent hands that enable him to keep blockers off him on the way to the quarterback.
