The Detroit Lions just got monstered in their own building by the New York Jets. Sam Darnold, who was starting his first game as a professional, cut them up after a rough start. If a rookie could do that to them, what will happen when Aaron Rodgers and others get their opportunity? It’s proof this team doesn’t have near the defensive firepower they need to hang with the big boys. Greedy Williams would give them another quality cover corner to put opposite Darius Slay. He’s got size and athleticism and can play physical without drawing penalties. This would ease the burden on their pass rush which may be in trouble if they can re-sign Ezekiel Ansah.
