RB. Iowa State. David Montgomery . 27. player. 49.

Aaron Rodgers remains the focal point of the Packers success. Without him, they just aren’t the same team. The opener proved that once again as the team looked inferior without their star QB. Perhaps a way to change that would be investing more in their ground game. Their array of running backs at present isn’t doing the job of anything more than being an extension of Rodgers. Adding David Montgomery would give them a legitimate feature back with all the bells and whistles. He can handle heavy workloads on the ground, runs with power but is athletic and capable of catching passes out of the backfield. A true complete back that can be more than just a compliment.
