Losing Jason Verrett was a tough blow for the Los Angeles Chargers and it showed against the Chiefs. Their secondary simply had no answer for Tyreek Hill who gashed them for 169 yards and two touchdowns. Getting Joey Bosa back should ease the burden but it underscores a serious weakness on that defense. They need more cover corners if they’re ever going to be taken seriously. Trayvon Mullen is another high-end talent on an already loaded Clemson defense. He has all the tools from size, speed, athleticism, and physicality. He’s a bit inconsistent at times but has steadily improved since getting more playing time.
