Chicago Bears: Their history in drafts with no 1st rounder

2010 – Grade:  C-

Not only did the Bears have no 1st or 2nd round picks in 2010, but they also had just five picks total. So it was going to be a challenge for them to have any sort of success. All told it wasn’t an inspiring group, but it’s one that did manage to make contributions. Major Wright was a starting safety for them for three years and made some nice plays.

Corey Wootton was a decent rotational defensive end who had the great honor of finally ending the Brett Favre nightmare on that fateful night in Minnesota. J’Marcus Webb also started several games for them as a tackle. Again, not a who’s who of Bears history but better than it could’ve and probably should’ve been.
