What’re the odds?

With the Supreme Court ruling nixing a federal ban on sports gambling over the summer, new doors have opened for fans to place legal bets from the comfort of their couch.

Thanks to our partners at OddsShark we have the latest betting lines for Monday night’s game in Detroit.

Odds

Line: Detroit (-7)

Over/Under: 44.5

Predicted Score: 24-16 Lions

The Lions have been favorites since sports books got the schedules for this season, and the line has only moved half a point in the Lions favor since. Some of that movement could be thanks to the Jets starting a rookie quarterback.

New York is also expected to be without two of their impact starters, safety Marcus Maye and wide receiver Jermaine Kearse. Maye is listed as questionable with a foot injury, while Kearse is doubtful with an abdomen injury.

Detroit placed Zach Zenner, Nick Bawden, and Steve Longa on injured reserve, although none of those three were expected to have a major impact this season.
