Keep Tate Contained

If you stop Khalil Tate then you stop the Arizona offense. Tate struggled against the BYU defense that had some draftable talent so facing off with Oliver could expose whether or not Tate is the elite talent he appeared to be.

Let King Reign

Houston may have the next breakout star on their hands. D’Eriq King aired it out against Rice and could let it rip against this week’s opponent. King can run as well and could possibly ball out this week too. Arizona was pretty tight the entire outing but had a meltdown in the third quarter. If Zona suffers another one King and his court will go off.

Arizona Keys To Victory

No Defensive Breakdowns

As mentioned, The Wildcats had BYU in check except for a 21 point third quarter. Houston is dangerous offensively so any sort of repeat breakdown can cost them another win. Especially if the offense is struggling again, the defense needs to play stingy all night to make up for it.

Tate To Poindexter

The Houston defense allowed 27 points until it buckled down in the late third quarter. Arizona offers up a more talented and threatening offense than the Owls of Rice. Tate and Poindexter can have a field day if Houston plays like they did against Rice.

Predictions

Arizona could be in trouble if they play like they did last week. The offensive line really needs to make up for their performance last week but playing the best defensive player in the country is not the recipe for success. Houston will take down the Wildcats crack the Top 25 next week
