Spread the offense out with their Wide Receivers:

Kyler Murray has the weapons on the outside to share the ball around as Marquise Brown, CeeDee Lamb, and Grant Calcaterra give the Sooners playmakers UCLA will have trouble stopping. If the Bruins focus on Rodney Anderson and the run game, Oklahoma’s depth and talent at wide receiver could exploit the UCLA secondary.

Depth receivers like Lee Morris, A.D. Miller, Jaylon Robinson, and Mykel Jones all had an impact last week as the UCLA secondary will have their work cut out for them in stopping their pass catchers.

Stop the UCLA Running Game:

If Oklahoma stops Kazmeir Allen and the Bruins running game, they will have a hard time moving the ball with their lack of talent at wide receiver compared to the Sooners.

The Oklahoma defensive line and linebackers led by defensive end Kenneth Mann and inside linebacker Kenneth Murray will be the main forces in stopping UCLA’s run game.

Mann and Murray had 6-7 tackles for loss last year as they should limit Allen enough to force them to throw on the Sooners secondary.
