Michael Jackson (CB – Miami) vs. Greedy Williams (CB – LSU)

Before the NFL takes over the following week, there will be one FBS game played on Sunday. That matchup features eighth-ranked Miami and number 25 LSU at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

With both programs looking to replace star running backs (Mark Walton at Miami and Derrius Guice at LSU), it’s possible both schools look to air it out more than usual. If that happens, watch for a couple of very talented cornerbacks to be the difference in the game.

Greedy Williams and Michael Jackson enter the season as the second and third best 2019 NFL Draft prospects at the position. It’s very possible the two end up as the first two corners off the board in the 2019 NFL Draft.

With this game taking place in Jerry’s World and being the only game of the day, Jackson and Williams have a tremendous opportunity to significantly boost their 2019 NFL Draft stock. While it’s only the first game of a long season, the stage may not get any bigger or brighter for any of the players in this game.

Jackson and Williams may be two of the top cornerback prospects in college football, but their styles of play are completely different. Jackson excels in press coverage where he can be physical and wear down an opposing wide receiver.

Williams, on the other hand, is more of a ballhawk who can diagnose plays very quickly and beat the receiver to a spot.

It may not be Clemson versus Alabama, but this ACC/SEC showdown is one you won’t want to miss.
