31. Minnesota Vikings

Jeffery Simmons . 31. player. 60. . DT. Mississippi State

No team has done a better job the past few years of stockpiling defensive players than the Minnesota Vikings. Their #1 overall defense last year proved that much. Part of what makes that a success is never stopping on the investments. They always look to add more. It creates depth and competition. With age starting to catch up at the defensive tackle position, that seems like an area ripe for some action in 2019. Jeffery Simmons is another piece of that loaded crop. He’s a great fit for what the Vikings do:  good size, strong, quick off the snap and able to generate consistent push on the pocket. Under Mike Zimmer coaching, he could be a stud.
